Gladys Morgan
Gladys "Estelle" Morgan, retired owner of Morgan's Amoco of Harvey, died Saturday of cancer at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was 59. Mrs. Morgan was born in Malvern, Ark., and lived in Gretna for 40 years. Survivors include her husband, Ernest Morgan Sr.; two sons, James Randall Cockerham and Charles Morgan; a daughter, Deborah Morales; four sisters, June Dempsey of Waldo, Ark., Pauline Law of Texarkana, Ark., Lou Evans of Magnolia, Ark., and Martha Womack of Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. A memorial service was held Saturday.
