Gloyed J. McCarthy, 58, 1310 South Seventh street died Wednesday evening at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Brainerd Feb. 11, 1901, and was a lifetime resident here. He was employed by the Minnesota Highway Department.
Survivors are his wife, Isabella [sic], two sons, James and Jack, three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Henry Nelson all of Brainerd.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p. m. at the Halvorson-Johnson funeral home with the Rev. Stanley Clarke officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
