"CHILLICOTHE, Mo. -- Joseph H. 'Joe' Littrell, 70. Chillicothe, died Monday, July 5, 1999 at his residence.

Mr. Littrell worked at Donaldson's, Chillicothe, for 31 years. he also served in the Army from 1948 to 1954 an was a veteran of the Korean War. He was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Mendon, Mo. Mr. Littrell was a member of American Legion Post No. 25. On Nov. 7, 1953, he married Hazel I. Walters, Phoenix. She survives of the home.

Mr. Littrell was preceded in death by his parents, Covia and Edna P. Littrell; three brothers, Lee, Dale and Orville; five sisters, Irene Speichinger, Fern Wright, Joyce Little, Evila Swan and LaVeta Adams. Additional survivors are a son, Steven J. Littrell of Lawson, Mo.; two sisters, Lucy Wilson of Chesterfield, N.J., and Nina Martin of Dean Lake, Mo., a grandchild and a great-grandchild.

Service: 10 a.m., Thursday, Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Burial: Mendon Cemetery, Mendon, MO. Visitation: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to 10 Thursday amd at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight." St Joseph News-Press, July 6, 1999
