He was the youngest of three sons born to James Morgan Alexander & Sarah Jane (Wooldridge) Beshears.

Hulon Brashears moved to Young County, Texas in 1902.

He married his wife Rhonda Jean Cain on 16 Oct 1879 in Wayne County, Kentucky, USA.

Their children were:

Hettie B. (died at age 4), Junius "Juney" "June", Malous Ray, Earl Worth and Homer Brashears.

The Graham Daily Reporter, August 20, 1941

Hulon Brashears, 83, was a prominent Young County stock farmer. He was a resident since 1902 and died at his home in the Rocky Mound Community, nine miles northeast of Graham. He had been confined to his bed for two weeks. Mr. Brashears moved to Texas in the late 1800s and settled first in Eastland County. He moved from the Tonk Valley Community to the Rocky Mound Community in 1929. Hew as a lifelong member of the Baptist Church.

Survived by his wife; four sons - June, Ray, Homer, Earl Brashears; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
