Sonny Earl Moore 85 of Fordland, Mo. passed away on Friday November 14, 2008 at the Glenwood Health Care in Seymour, Mo.
Sonny was born on March 27, 1923 in Newport Beach, California to Orin Moore and Ethel "Odgers" Moore.
Sonny served in the US ARMY in WW II as a dog handler. Sonny operated a Dog and Pony show all across the United States and in Canada. Sonny also preformed for the Queen of England and did shows at school assemblies. After moving to Fordland Sonny helped at the Elephant Farm for many years. Sonny was a member of the VFW and held AA meetings at the Fordland Honor Camp for 12 years. Sonny was a member of the West Finley Baptist Church in Fordland. Sonny was married to Camilla "Pam" Riddell on July 18, 1981 and she survivies of the home.
Also surviving is his son James Moore of Lakeforest, Ca. and granddaughter Rebecca Moore. Two step daughters Robinson Palletier and Jodi Ellis of Windsor Ontario, Canada, and two step sons Jay James Ellis of Windsor Ontario, Canada and Dennis Ellis Jr. of Houston, Texas, four step grandchildren and 2 step Great Grandchildren several nieces and nephews. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Del, Dwight and Sid Moore.
