Son of Isaac & Darthula Lee Hysinger; husband of Mary Hysinger; grandson of Mary Emerinie Bowman Hysinger & Samuel Hysinger, who lost an arm in the Civil War. Samuel and his 6 children migrated into Rockcastle Co., Kentucky from Tennessee in the late 1860's. His wife had died in the mid 1850's.
