Lola Wood Lee, age 92, died January 20, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Gilbert, Arizona. She resided at 4 Canyon Road in Tooele, Utah at the time of her death.

Lola was born June 29, 1917 to Clark S. and Alvilda K. Wood in Levan, Utah.

She married George W. Lee on November 14, 1939 in Salt Lake City. After a brief time in Rio Tinto, Nevada, they settled in Tooele in 1941.

During her ninety-two years, Lola was constantly busy in activities that benefitted family, friends, church, and community.

As a member of the Tooele First Ward, Lola served in many ways, including ten years as Primary president. She taught Relief Society and was a faithful visiting teacher. She was a Past Madam President of the Eagles Auxiliary and recently received a rare sixty-year membership pin. She worked in the Personnel Division at Tooele Army Depot, where she excelled in teaching retirement planning classes.

Lola was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Everett and Rulon Wood, sister Delma (Fred) Bennett, granddaughter Windy Dawn Lee, grandson Michael Shay Lee, and great-grandson Brighton Lee Poulsen.
