She was born in Leland, NC, on October 13, 1944, a daughter of the late Margaret (Reynolds) and Henry Thomas Lewis.
Surviving are her husband, Jerry L. Bland Sr., two daughters, Brigitte L. Robertson of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Melinda Scheel of of Easton PA, a son, Jerry L. Bland, Jr., of North Charleston, SC, six sisters, Dorothy Heath, Barbara Sellers, Alverta Robbins, Wilma St. John, Mildred Williamson, and Virginia Mills all of Leland, NC, and five grandchildren, Heather S. Bland, Crystal R. Bland, Brittany D. Bland, Trey C. Bland, and Michael K. Robertson.
