Birth Certificate revealed Roseanna Rohrer was born on April 15, 1879 in Liberty Township in Washington County, Ohio. Her parents were Samuel Rohrer and Louisa J. Bonner.

Roseanna was the seventh of eleven children and raised on a farm. She had five brothers and five sisters.

Marriage Record revealed Centennial Oliver was twenty-one and Annie R. Rohrer was eighteen when they married on December 30, 1897 in Marietta in Washington County, Ohio.

Roseanna and her sister Hulda married brothers, Charles and Benjamin Oliver.

The 1900 census revealed Charles was a farm laborer and they were living with his parents in Liberty, Washington County, Ohio. They and their parents were all born in Ohio.
Charles was born in February 1876 and Roseanna was born in April 1880. They had been married two years, had one child and one still living. Household members: Charles C. Oliver (24), Roseanna (20), son, Mirrel S. (1), Christian (53), Sarah A. (45), Frank B. (21), Mary B. (18), James William (15) and Jesse E. (9).

The 1910 census revealed Charles rented and worked the farm where they were living. They had been married twelve years, had one child and one still living. Household members: Charles C. Oliver (34), Annie (30) and Merril S. (11). Charles's parents lived next door and his brother, James and family lived two door away on the other side.

The 1920 census revealed Charles was an oil driller in an oil field on his own account. Household members: Charles C. Oliver (43), Anna (40) and Mirrel S. (20). Charles's parents lived next door.

She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, the W.S.C.S. and the W.C.T.U. She was a faithful church member and always ten percent of earnings went to church and no work on Sundays.

She did her share of farming and her money went toward things for inside the house. She had her own cows to care for, picked berries, made molasses and sold eggs. Annie loved to cook and sew. She made and sold many beautiful quilts and rugs.

The 1930 census revealed Charles was a farmer. Charles was thirty-three and Annie was eighteen when they married. Household members: Charles C. Oliver (54), Annie (51). Charles's widowed mother lived next door.

The 1940 census revealed they owned their farm valued at $1000 and lived at the same residence as in 1935. They both had an eight grade education. Household members: Charles C. Oliver (64), Roseanna (61).

They had one son:

Mirrel Samuel Oliver (b.1899 d.1966)

Charles died in 1958, just ten weeks after they celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary quietly with friends and relatives calling during the day on December 30, 1957.

Death Certificate revealed Rosanna Rhorer Oliver was born on April 27, 1879 in Ohio, was widowed and resided in Beverly, Washington County, Ohio. Rosanna died at age eighty-three at Shelby General Hospital at 11 A.M. on November 8, 1962 in Beverly, of Myocardial Infraction due to Hypertensive Heart Diease for six days. Her parents were Samuel Rohrer and Jane Bonar. Rosanna was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Informant was her son, Merle Oliver of Canton, Ohio.

{{Mrs. Charles C. Oliver, 83, of Beverly died at Shelby General Hospital at 11 a.m. Thursday.

She was born on April 27, 1879 on Pleasant Ridge a daughter of the late Samuel and Jane Bonar Rohrer, On Dec. 30, 1897, she was married to Charles C. (Dad) Oliver. He died March 13, 1958.

Surviving is a son, Merle Oliver, Canton. There are nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; also one sister, Mrs. Frank Oliver of Whipple R.D.

Five brothers, Charles Rohrer, Chris Rohrer, Ernest Rohrer, Frank Rohrer and Clint Rohrer, and four sisters, Mrs. Phoebe Mootz, Mrs. Belle Oliver, Mrs. Mary Becker and Mrs. Martha Schramm are deceased.

Mrs. Oliver was a member of the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church, the WCS, and the WCTU.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Doudna & McClure Funeral Home with further services at 2 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church. The Rev. Alan Teter will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.}}
