LOUISVILLE WOMAN'S BODY FOUND FOLLOWING FLOODING - The body of a Louisville woman who was missing after flash flooding in Central and Eastern Kentucky was found yesterday morning in Nelson County. The body of Amy Lanham, 26, was recovered from the Beech Fork River near Ky. 605, seven miles from where she disappeared Friday night, authorities said. Lanham's body was the third recovered after the flooding; two other people died in Eastern Kentucky. A passer-by saw Lanham's body in the river just before 10 a.m. yesterday and contacted police. Lanham, a native of Washington County, was on her way there to visit her mother as heavy rain was falling on U.S. 150, said Jim Crouch, Washington County Emergency Services director. The 1997 Acura Integra she was driving hydroplaned, according to Washington County Emergency Services, and plunged into Parker's Run Creek, which was less than 30 feet from the road. "She lost it right off the highway", Crouch said. Lanham had been a medical surgical nurse of Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville for two years, according to a hospital spokesman.
