S.A. Youth Dies in Lake
A 16-year-old San Antonian drowned Saturday while swimming with four young companions in Canyon Lake near New Braunfels.
He was Charles R. Berry, son of Robert Berry, 1143 W. Kings Hwy., and Mrs. Katherine Payne, Seguin.
A Comal County sheriff's official said the drowning occurred in Comal Park on the southwest side of the lake.
Berry would have been a senior at Jefferson High School in September.
Funeral arrangements were pending.
