Edward N. Murray Jr., 78, of Danville, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at Danville Care Center with family present.

He was born April 15, 1931 to Edward Willie and Marguerite Hines Murray. He married Mary Alice McNeal on Aug. 15, 1968. She survives.

He is also survived by five children, Melvin McNeal, Brenda (George) Rose, Anthony (Troy) Sutton, Michael (Marilyn) Murray and Donald (Kirsten) Murray; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Edward Lee Murray and one brother, W. Richard Murray.
