Victor L. Wagner, 92, of Buffalo Township, passed away Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, while in the company of family members at Saxony Health Center, Saxonburg. Victor was born Nov. 14, 1917, in Rumelange, Luxembourg, the son of the late Jacob and Anna (Grievelding) Wagner. He was a member of Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church.
He was employed as a foreman at Allegheny Ludlum Steel for 42 years, retiring in 1978. Victor was a member of the Central Beagle Club, in Culmerville. He spent many years raising and training field trial beagles. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood carving and spending time at his camp.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Emily L. (Johnson) Wagner; a son, Randell V. Wagner, of Buffalo Township; and a daughter, Karen E. (James) Younkins, of Kittanning. Victor is also survived by a sister.
Victor was preceded in death by his two brothers, Leo and Nicholas Wagner; and his sister, Henrietta Kleas.
At the family's request there will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home with Rev. Cameron Malcolm, of the Natrona Heights Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will be held at Mt. Airy Cemetery Natrona Heights.
