Three Tots Killed in Montana Blaze
Great Falls, Mont., Aug. 27--Three small children burned in a flash fire that destroyed their home today. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Tillman's three daughters huddled in a closet as the blazing inferno razed the building. Dead are: Carol Lee 4; Leslie Lynn, 3; and Betty Lou, 2-1/2 months.
Tillman, who works nights, was sleeping in a bedroom in the house. He was awakened by the smell of smoke and called the children. There was no response so he went to the back room to see if the children were outside. He was unable to get back in. Mrs. Tillman was at work.
