She graduated from Bristow High School in 1932. She attended Bristow Junior College for two years and received a teaching degree from Central State College in Edmond. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bristow.
Survivors include her husband, James Copeland of the home; a daughter, Oma Kay Murray; a son, Buddie Alexander Copeland; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Magnolia Memorial Gardens, directed by Hutchins-Maples Funeral Home of Bristow. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Bristow, with the Rev. Roy Pike officiating.
