He was the husband of Ginger M. (Gouger) Henry, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage on Nov. 14, 2009.
Born April 27, 1938, at home in Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Raymond and Jenny (Deitter) Henry and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
He worked in the textile industry for 30 years and then switched to the steel stamping industry.
Moon's hobbies were hunting, fishing, and the Atlanta Braves.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Jock Henry and his wife, Susan, of Stroudsburg and Belinda-Jane (Henry) MacIntire of East Stroudsburg; four grandchildren, Ashley (Henry) Crockett and her husband, Haile, of Wilkes-Barre, Krystal MacIntire, Tyler MacIntire, and Amy Burns, all of East Stroudsburg; two siblings, Mary Frailey of Texas, and Vaneto VanHorn of East Stroudsburg; two brothers-in-law, John Gouger and Terry Gouger, both of East Stroudsburg; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four siblings, Graydon Henry, Tom Henry, Ann Young, and Pat Palmer; and a great-granddaughter, Marleigh Crockett.
There will be a memorial service beginning at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, from the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main St., Stroudsburg, with the Rev. William Schram officiating.
Cremation will have taken place prior to the service.
There will be no viewing.
