Mrs. Sophie Going, who had made her home
with a daughter, Mrs Maggie Washington,
for about 12 years, died of illness about
12:30 p.m. Sunday at Hugo Manor nursing
home. She was a full-blood Choctaw, believed
to have been born Jan 25, 1873, at Smithville.
McCurtain County.

The funeral, Thursday at 2 p.m., will be held
in Kullituklo United Presbyterian Church at
Watson by the Rev. Henry Jones, Coffey Funeral
Home to make burial in the Going Family
Cemetery, two miles west of Watson.

Children surviving besides Mrs. Washington here
are the Rev. Jimmy Going of Broken Bow, member
of the Choctaw Housing Authority Board; Miss
Salina Going and Abner Going, Watsaon; and
Rayson Going of Wewoka, and a number of other
descendants.
