Leon J. Kennedy, 52, of 845 Korkwood St., died Saturday of heart failure in the Delaware Division.
Mr. Kennedy was a paper handler at the News Journal Co. for the past 14 years. Priot to that, he worked at Star Color Press as a paper handler for 16 years. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Alice F.; three daughters, Deborah A. Kennedy, Donna L. Kennedy, and Barbara Cephas, all of Wilmington; his mother, Arrie Kennedy of Wilmington; two brothers, William A. Jr. of Baltimore and Casper of Princeton, N.J.; and a sister, Lucretia Wedington of Wilmington.
Services will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. in St. Paul's UAME Church, 408 E. 11th St., where friends may call at 6 p.m. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
