Funeral services for Clarence Morrison, 47, were held on Thursday afternoon at the Hall Funeral Home, with Elder B. H. Doty officiating. Burial was in the Butman cemetery. Mr. Morrison was the son of Harold and Anna Morrison, former residents of Butman township, but spent most of his life in and near Detroit. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, World War I, enlisting at the age of 15.
Surviving are his wife, Pearl, two sons, Harold and Warren, by a former marriage; three sisters; his father, of Flint and his mother, who resides with a daughter, Mrs. Lester Stuck, at Houghton Lake. Gladwin County Record dated 02-09/1949 Column - 3 Page - 1
