Funeral service for James Edgar Raff was held at the Neujahr Funeral Home Monday afternoon, May 13, with Rev. M. N. Knudson in charge. Interment was made in the Bagley Cemetery.
Mr. Raff had been ill for some time, and had been staying in the Kavanagh home here.
Born July 11, 1851, at Milton, Ohio, he had moved with his parents three years later to Marshalltown, Iowa, and in 1911 he moved to Shevlin and lived there many years. For the past five years he had lived at Bemidji.
On July 4, 1885, he was united in marriage to Anna M. Carter, who is left to mourn. Also left are one daughter, Mrs. W. A. Priebe, and a grandson Ray Priebe, both of Madison, Wisconsin.
