Susan Gertrude Fischer, 91, Denver and formerly of Wall and Rapid City areas, died Wednesday Jan. 20, 2010 at the Porter Hospital in Denver, CO. She was born June 5, 1919 in Rapid City to Edward Leo and Amy (DeWitt) Endres.
Susan graduated from Rapid City High School and Black Hills Teacher's College. In 1941, Susan married Helmuth Fischer.
To this union Geraldine Hagerman McAdams was born. Susan lived in Rapid City for 41 years, Quinn, SD for 18 years; Wall, SD for 6 years and Denver, CO for 10 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Wall and Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and St. Therese Catholic Churches in Rapid City.
She is survived by her daughter, Geraldine Hagerman, Centennial, CO; 3 grandchildren, Chris Hagerman, Bangkok; Nicole Kuhn, Spokane, WA; Lynn Collins, Denver, CO; 4 great grandchildren and two sisters, Edna Fortune, Quinn, SD and Lucile Kirkpatrick, Jacksonville
