Halifax, May 10-(CP)
The Eastern Air Command has announced the names of the five Canadians killed and one seriously injured when an aircraft from an R.C.A.F. station in Newfoundland crashed last Wednesday.
Those killed were: Flight Lieut. B.A. Casey, pilot,Sandwich West, Ont.; Flight Lieut.J.P. Barsalou, second pilot, Montreal; Flying Officer J.R Cleeland, navigator, Wilson Ave., Toronto; Pilot Officer J.H. Millar, wireless operator air gunner, Vancover; Warrant Officer A.F. Morrice, wireless operator air gunner, Stayner, Ont.
Seriously injured; Corporal U.E.A.Dube, second engineer, St. Leonard, N.B.
