Pipestone, Minn., July 27–The death of Mrs. Amelia Jones Evans, 83 years old, occurred at her home here Monday. She was the widow of John E. Evans for many years a merchant here. The Evans were pioneer residents of Williamsburg, Ia., and also lived at Iowa City, Geneva, Ia., Tracy, Minn., and York, Neb., before coming to Pipestone in 1963. Mr. Evans died here January 20, 1930.
