Bill was born July 28, 1924 in Hartford, the son of the late Earle and Pauline Nellie (House) Duncan.
Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. Bill lived in Windsor Locks for over fifty-five years before moving to East Windsor.
He retired after twenty-five years from the State of Connecticut where he worked in the computer data center. Bill and his wife Sally enjoyed vacationing during the winter months in Florida for many years. He was a member of the Euclid Lodge # 109A.F. & A. M. and a close friend of Bill W. Bill's humor and email jokes will be missed by his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Sally, to whom he was married sixty-four years, he is survived by his two children, Scott Duncan and his wife, Linda of Cumberland, RI and Sandra Duncan and Curt Wright of Suffield. Bill is also survived by three grandchildren, Anthony Carniglia of Denver, CO, Matthew Carniglia and his wife, Jackie of Moria, NY, Thomas Kuhn of Rocky Hill; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Audrey Carniglia, Alexa and Marissa Kuhn. Bill was predeceased by his grandson, Joseph Carniglia.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring Street, Windsor Locks. A Masonic Service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home.
Burial will immediately follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
