Lydia Minnie Sophia Dittmer, daughter of Benard Marquart and Emma Gebers Marquart was born February 18, 1914 and died on November 12, 2000 at the age of 86 years.

She received her education in the public schools. She was a life long resident of the Byron, Nebraska, Community until moving to Superior, Nebraska in 1998. She was a retired bookkeeper for Citizens Grain. She was united in marriage to Edwin F. Dittmer on December 7, 1970.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Byron, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Edward Marquart and Wilbert Marquart, and one brother-in-law.

She is survived by one sister, Theresa Peters, Superior, NE; three brothers, Oscar Marquart, Alamogordo, N.M.; Lester Marquart, Lincoln, NE; Raymond Marquart, Superior, NE; one sister-in-law; one step-daughter, Edna Gray, Denver, CO; one step-son, Harold Dittmer, San Francisco, CA; six step-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2000, 10:30 a.m., St. Paul Lutheran Church, Byron, NE, conducted by Pastor Howard F. Schroeder. Interment will be made in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Byron, NE
