Dorothy Robertson Porterfield, 71, of Narrows. died Monday March 11 1996 in Roanoke Hospital. A lifelong resident of Giles County, she was born on April 17 1924 and was the daughter of the late Charles William and Susan Kelley Robertson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Porterfield. Brothers: Lewis, James & Bob. And a sister Mary Cooper.

She is survived by 3 brothers: Arthur, Harold and Frank Robertson of Narrows and a sister Alma R. Spangler of Silver Springs, FL.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm in the chapel of Riffe's Funeral home with Rev. Kim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetary.
