Miss Vaughan was born May 6, 1957, in Cumberland County, to Jack L. Vaughan, Sr. and the late Betty Jones Collins.
In addition to her father, she is survived by brother, Walter Graham Vaughan of Asheboro and sisters, Leslie Lee Riggs of Bayboro and Donna Ray Vaughan of Madison.
