Mary B. Zeagler, of Lone Star, SC, departed this life on the morning of January 27, 2010 in Lexington. She was 92.
Born in Gray Court, SC, she was a daughter of the late Thomas W. and Maude Bolt Barksdale.
Mrs. Zeagler was a teacher in the Georgia and South Carolina public school systems for six years and a clerk with the US Postal Service in Lone Star for 20 years.
She was an active member of Pine Grove Lutheran Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for 50 years, was a former choir member and a member of WELCA.
Mrs. Zeagler was the Calhoun County Chairperson of The Easter Seal Society of SC.
She was the widow of O. Kreps Zeagler, Jr. and is survived by three daughters: Sylvia Klett and husband Michael, Shillington, PA, Patricia Stribling and husband John, Mt. Pleasant, SC, Diane Inabinet and husband Rufus, St. Matthews, SC; sister: Aileen Cabler, Spartanburg, SC; two brothers: Thomas W. Barksdale, Gray Court, SC, and William H. Barksdale and wife Gene, Abbeville, SC; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Pine Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery.
