Trinity Journal for JAMES HAZEN:
"JAMES HAZEN of Trinity Center died December 2, at Mercy Medical Center.
Born December 16, 1925, in San Francisco, Mr. Hazen was 58 years old and lived in Trinity County since 1972. He was employed by Caltrans as a heavy equipment operator and served with the Merchant Marines during World War Two.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, one son John H. Hazen of Trinity Center and three daughters Priscilla Councilman and Marta Berglund also of Trinity Center, and Cynthia Gubser of Redding. Also surviving is one sister, Marie Kniveton of San Francisco and eight grandchildren.
Services were held December 4 at Trinity Center Odd Fellows Hall with Reverend John Morris officiating. Private graveside services followed at Trinity Center Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dick Berglund, Joe Councilman,
Bill Koenig, Michael Micali, and Mike and Mark Tilegin.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Center Fire Department, Trinity Center, CA 96091."
