She married Herbert Beach on November 4, 1911 in Freeland. Herb grew up around the corner on Webster Rd. They bought a farm from Hazel's father Charles Goold on Webster Rd. in Freeland. During the Depression they fell behind on the mortgage for their farm and Hazel's father took the farm back and sold it.
Herb and Hazel then moved to their home at 147 South 4th St. Hazel was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Freeland and the Rebeccas.
Hazel died at Midland Hospital Center in Midland, MI after a lingering illness.
