Mrs. Retha Kathleen Mattingly, 60, of Cloverport, died at her home of a presumed heart attack early Friday morning, April 27. She was the widow of Morris Mattingly and was a retired employee of American Olean Tile Plant at Cloverport. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Bernice Barbee Keenan and Styla Keenan of Cloverport who survives. In addition to her father, she is survived by three sons, Harold Mattingly of Cloverport, Curtis Mattingly, Rt. 3., Hardinsburg and David Mattingly, Louisville; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Newman of Cloverport and Mrs. Viola Brown, Rt. 1, Hardinsburg; a brother, Pat Keenan, Rt. 1, Glen Dean; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral was held at 9 A.M. Monday from the St. Rose Catholic Church, of which she was a member, with the pastor, the Rev. Frank Roof officiating. Burial was in the St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church Cemetery at McQuady with Harry L. Dhonau Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
