Mrs.Emma Barriklow, 62, mother-in-law of City treasurer Lucien P. Bohon, died at 11 am Yesterday in her home, 3935 E. Hickory street, after an illness of more than a year.
She was born Feb. 16,1877 in New Straitsville, Ohio and was married to Hiram H.Barricklow in Shawnee, Ohio,Dec. 31, 1901. The family moved to Arcola in 1902, to Mt.Zion in 1932 and to Decatur last March.
Mrs.Barricklow leaves besides her husband, a son Leonard, Her daughter and son in law, Mrs.and Mrs. Bohon, all of Decatur, a brother George Wion, a sister, Mrs. Della Chidester, both of New Straitsville and a grandson, Billy Kyle Bohon of Decatur.
She was a member of the Arcola Christian church and the Arcola Order of Eastern Star, No 24.
Funeral services will be conducted privately at 2 pm Wednesday in the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home with burial in Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 am Tuesday until Wednesday noon.
