Mildred E. Bogumil, 85, of Wilkes-Barre, died Monday in Riverstreet Manor, following an illness.
Born in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Byorick Celmer. She had worked for Leslie Fay until retirement. She was preceded in death by her brother Thomas; Andrew; by sisters Bertha Pacropis; Ruth Wolk; Helen Greskiewicz and by her husband Edmund, January 14, 2008.
Surviving are a brother Frank, Indianapolis, Indiana; sisters Ann Gallager, Florida, Fran Riskofski, New Jersey; Margaret Paddock, California; several nieces and nephews.
Mildred's funeral will be held Thursday from Mark V. Yanaitis Funeral Home, 55 Stark Street, Plains, with a Blessing service a 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be in St Mary Cemetery Mausoleum, Hanover Township. Friends may call Thursday 9 a.m. to time of services.
