Billy Ray Nance, 59, of Paris, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2001, at Christus St. Joseph's Hospital South at which time Bright-Holland Funeral Home received him into their care. Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22 at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Royce Dickey and the Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetary. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nance, 955 Willowcrest Dr., Reno, at other times. He was born Dec. 3, 1941 in Delta County, the son of Charles L. and Mildred Plott Nance. He had been a supervisor for Mrs. Biard's Bread and attended the Shepard's Way Pentacostal Church and the United Pentacostal Church. Survivors include his son, Freddy Nance of Dallas; his mother and father who live in Reno; one sister; Donna Howell and husband, Don of Reno; one grandson, Ryan Nance of Paris; along with special friends, Don Morrell, Donna Marie Boydston, Mary Moore, and Sandy Ward. He was preceded in death by one son, Micheal Don Nance in 1991.
