Former Atlantic
Mechanic, Dies
Henry C. Bell, 63, former At-
lantic mechanic, died Saturday
at his home in Des Moines,
where he had resided since
leaving Atlantic. He was en-
gaged in the automobile busi-
ness at Lorimor with his broth-
er and father and later was a
mechanic at the Glen Bell
Motors in Atlantic.
Mr. Bell was born in Oak-
field Feb. 20, 1901, the son of
Henry and Bertha Onken Bell
and grew to manhood in the
Brayton and Atlantic vicinities.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Darline Nodland and a son,
Merrill Bell, both of Dees
Moines; a sister, Mrs. Dan
Boyer of Minneapolis and nine
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held
at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at
the Roland funeral home, the
Rev. Paul Holman officiating.
Interment will be in the Atlantic
cemetery.
