Gil was the second wife of Erwin Henry Ristenpart (1901-1988). She was the daughter of Bernard Bocke and Emma (Hacker) Bocke of Quincy, Illinois. Sister, aunt and great-aunt.

Hildegard was born on March 24, 1913 and passed away on Friday, December 25, 2009. Hildegard was a resident of Quincy, Illinois at the time of her passing. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Monsignor Michael Kuse. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament School Fund or to Blessing Foundation for HOSPICE.
