James Arthur Ableitner, age 59, died Sunday, January 24, 2010, at his home in Farmington.

He was born April 8, 1950, in Plainview, Minnesota, the son of Elmer Roy and Ruth Irene (Hetrick) Ableitner. On September 1, 1978, he married Luella Kramer on September 1, 1978, at Easter Lutheran Church in Eagan. They lived in Eagan and later in Farmington. James was employed by the City of Apple Valley in the maintenance department. He liked being on his computer, had a wonderful sense of humor and was the family jokester. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by his dog, Mandy.

Survivors include his wife, Luella Ableitner of Farmington; two sons, Kris (Laura) Kramer of Farmington and Kraig (Perri) Kramer of Eagan; five grandchildren, Kandee, Kole, Robert, Samantha and Tabitha; two great grandchildren, Trinity and Taylan; three nieces, Paula, Jennifer and Holly along many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David and a sister, Judy.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2010, at the Worlein Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen DeFor, officiating. Interment will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the Worlein Funeral Home on Friday.
