Mrs. Turner was born on June 4, 1919 in Jackson the daughter of the late Willie A. & Florence Sims Corley. A long time resident of Richland, she graduated from Florence High School in 1939. Mrs. Turner has been a member of First United Methodist Church since 1927 and taught Sunday school for many years.
She loved working in her yard and was particularly proud of her azaleas.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen H. Turner of Richland; son, Donald S. Turner and his wife, Sheila of Brandon; daughter, Jo Evelyn Winans and her husband, Rocky of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Jeffrey M. Turner of Augusta, GA; Lindsay M. Turner of Brandon ; Zak Winans and Todd Winans both of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by her brothers, Carl Vernon Corley of Zachary, LA and Willie Aubrey Corley of Sacramento, CA.
