JOHN KILPATRICK DIES
AT FT. DODGE MAR. 14

John Kilpatrick, former resident, passed away Monday, March 14, at Fort Dodge. Mr Kilpatrick was 79 years, 11 months and 14 days of age at the time of his death.

John Almond Kilpatrick, "Allie" as all his friends called him, was the oldest son of John and Dora Kilpatrick and was born April 29, 1875, on a farm west of Milford, which his father had homesteaded. He was married to Nettie Parish of Milford and they lived in and around Milford for several years. To this union, three sons were born, Loril and Cecil of Minnesota and Kenneth of Dike, Iowa. When the children were of school age, they moved to Fort Dodge. His wife, father, mother and two brothers preceded him in death.

Survivors include his sons, Loril, Cecil and Kenneth: one sister, Mrs Vesta Nielsen of Long Beach, Calif., three Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
