Services for Pat Oby Bryan, Sr, 57, prominent Graham insurance representative, were held at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Dallas Lee, the pastor.

Mr. Bryan was active in church and civic work in Graham. He graduated from Granbury High school and attended the University of Texas. He was a civic engineer before moving to Graham in 1920 as manager of Employees Lumber Company. In 1921, Mr. Bryan began selling all types of insurance in Graham with a partner. That same year, Mr. Bryan became associated with Southwestern Life Insurance Company of Dallas, he received his Charter Life Underwriter degree in 1940. He was one of the outstanding life insurance representatives with his company and was associated with his son, Pat Bryan, Jr., in the Bryan Insurance Company of Graham. Mr. Bryan was a member of First Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge, Rotary Club, and the Lions Club.

Survived by his wife; one daughter - Mrs. W.P. Burch, Jr.; one son - Pat Bryan, Jr; his mother - Mrs. A.H. Bryan; one sister - Mrs. J. Carroll McConnell; three brothers - Paul Bryan, Lewis Bryan, Robert Bryan; three grandchildren.
