PARISH - Florence Cowen Leon, 85, County Route 45, Hastings, died Friday in Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse after a long illness.
She was a member of the Hastings Presbyterian Church and Ladies Aide Society, Hastings Grange, Hastings Fire Department Auxiliary and Oswego County Firemen's Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Peter Cowen of Hastings; three daughters, Mrs. Vivian Cornell of Altamont Springs, Fla., Mrs. Jeanne Jones of Hastings and Mrs. Eleanor Krol of Apopke, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Harter-Olmstead Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Carley Mills Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
