Kenneth Terry Hallman, age 59, of Brookwood, died May 20, 2009, at home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Pennigton, and father, Burie Hallman.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Hallman; his daughters, Terri Smith (Brian), Lisa Cook (Neil), and Angel Tucker (Mark); his son, Ken Hallman (Crystal); his brother, Murray Walker; his niece, Kelly Walker; and his grandchildren, Bradley Kizziah, Corey Cook, Keithen Cook, Johnathan Hallman, Kayliegh Hallman, Lauren Tucker, Will Tucker, and Kaitlin Cook.
Kenny was a great husband and father.
Pallbearers will be Mark Tucker, Wayne Watkins, Bedford Steele, Greg Kizziah, Jimmy Hinton, and Robert Hopkins.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Shamblin, Dr. Lucy, and DCH Hospice and Maggie.
