She had been ill for the last three weeks and was critically ill and confined to her home since Saturday.
She was born in Waynesboro, April 16, 1926, daughter of Wilbur C. and Anne (Ervin) Zook Waynesboro. All her life was lived in Waynesboro and she had made her home at the Clayton Avenue residence for the past 30 years.
For a number of years she worked at the First National Bank and Trust Co. and was later employed as a secretary at the Waynesboro Area Senior High School. Since 1971, Mrs. Davis had been employed at Fort Ritchie.
In addition to her parents, she is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Smith, Davenport, Iowa, a son, Harry Frank Davis, at home, three granddaughters, and a brother, Wilbur J Zook, Wayne Heights.
Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
