Travis Jackson Murray, 54, of Yukon, Oklahoma, died, Saturday, January 23, 2010 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was born November 9, 1955 in Many, Louisiana.
He was a driver for the sanitation department for The City of Yukon and he retired from the U.S. Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Murray; a sister, Dea Martin; and one grandchild, Tristan Phillips.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Murray of the home; four daughters, Tina Thompson and her husband, Scotty of Van Buren, AR, Amanda Phillips and her husband, Jeff of Jonesboro, AR, Atish Graham and her husband, Tommy of Van Buren, AR, and Veronica Hawkins and her husband Jamie of El Reno, OK; three sons, Anthony Murray of Shreveport, LA, Adrien Murray and his wife, Jessica of Greenwood, LA, and Terry Cauthen and his wife Dody of Mustang, OK; his mother, Rosie Webb of Shreveport, LA; two sisters, Cathy Talent of Longville, LA and Bobbie Menona of Ponchatoula, LA; three brothers, James Murray of Pleasantville, LA, Jim Murray of Ponchatoula, LA, and Howard Murray of Shreveport, LA; as well as 16 grandchildren.
Funeral service was Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many, LA and burial at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Mount Carmel, LA. Local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
