Born Aug. 14, 1940 in Franklin County, he was the son of Harvey and Lorena (McDermott) Crawley Sr., both deceased. He married Edith Dunn June 30, 1963; she survives.
Mr. Crawley spent all of his life in the Franklin County area. He was a 1959 graduate of Clarksburg High School. He worked at D&M in Connersville for 29 years, Square D in Oxford, Ohio and Hillebrand in Batesville until 2002. He was a past member of the Andersonville Nazarene Church and the Andersonville Masonic Lodge F.&A.M.
Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, Everett Crawley of Laurel; three daughters, Angie (Mrs. Jim) Adams of Laurel, Annette (Mrs. James) Hunter and Melanie (Mrs. John) Byrd, both of Andersonville; two sisters, Elnora (Mrs. Paul) Meier of Columbus and Reba (Mrs. Jack) Patterson of Laurel; and four grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters; Ruth Ellen Caudill and Jo Ann Crawley and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Rob Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Rush County's Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Thursday at the church.
