A native of Colquitt, Ga., she was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Linda Dale Hamm of Chattahoochee, Jackie Carol Marriott of Sycamore, and Michele Denise Southard of Flat Creek; four brothers, J.C. Beach of Flat Creek, David Beach of Tallahassee, Steve Beach of Ft. Myers and Wayne Beach of Panama City; three sisters, Laverne Childers of Quincy, Evelyn Hunter of Miss., and Martha Cobb of Quincy; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
