he was preceded in death by her parents, George Finch, Sr. and Eldora Burkett Finch; her husband, Charles McDonald; her son, Gerald Herring; her brother, George Finch, Jr.; and four sisters, Grace Taylor, Mary Lewis, Dorothy Douglas, and Virginia Hudson. Survivors include her daughter, Sheryl Herring (David) Thomas; two sons, Joseph Wayne Herring and James Edward (Cindy) Herring; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 26, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Bond officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
