FONTANA - Phillip ``Pepo'' Torrez, 63, of Fontana died April 30, 2002, at Extended Care of Montclair. He was born Sept. 1, 1939, in Pomona and was a resident of Fontana for six years. He had been a former resident of Montclair. He was a self-employed general contractor for 15 years. He served in the Army and Marine Corps Reserve. Mr. Torrez is survived by two brothers, Felix Torrez of Ontario and Phillip Torrez of Mt. View; a sister, Alejandrina Rojas of Montclair; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. with vigil at 7 p.m. Thursday at Todd Memorial Chapel, Pomona. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Claremont. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery. Todd Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
