Edward was the son of Albert Page and Abigail Dake Hanford. When Edward was 17 years of age he went to Michigan. He married Betsy Anna Bennett on 5 Oct 1863 in Kent County, Michigan.

Edward's wife, Anna, gave birth to a total of thirteen children, four of whom died before the 1900 census. Their names are unknown. The rest of the family included:

-Frank Edward Page, born 1880 in MO; died 1958 in CA; married, 1) Maude May Darrow; 2) Flora C. unknown; 3) Rose unknown; and 4) Marie unknown

-Clarissa Ann "Clara" Page, born 1882 in MO; died 1971 in CA; married John Reeve Spivey

-Abigail Dake Page, born 1884 in MO; died 1912 in CA

THE HEADSTONE EXPLAINED: Edward Eugene Page was married Betsy Anna (Bennett) Page. Abagail Dake Page was their daughter. The two others were their grandsons.

#1 (middle left): Edward Broughton Page was a son of Jay Albert Page and Rosine Ellen (Broughton) Page.

#2 (middle right): Abagail Dake Page, daughter of Edward Eugene Page and Betsy Anna (Bennett) Page, nursed her mother during her final illness. That illness claimed the lives of both mother and daughter in 1912.

#3 (bottom): Edward Elliot Waite’s true birth date was December 19, 1896, rather than 1900 as depicted on the stone. He died May 13, 1916. His parents were Everett Llewellyn Waite and Daisy Adella (Page) Waite.
