Born at Cape Cod Hospital, she was a lifelong resident of the Cape.
She was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her two sons, Eunice was pre-deceased by a daughter . She is also survived by her two daughters , nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She created beautiful gardens in her younger days, and loved watching the leaves dance in her latter days. She loved to sit and gaze at the changing sky or watch the birds. Over the years she grew to love a special place in Maine which holds many wonderful memories and happy times.
She loved growing up in Chatham and never lost the simplicity of life and values that she learned in days gone by. Her love and devotion to her family was unending and her love unconditional.
A devout Christian,she grew up a member of the First Congregational Church in Chatham, and was a member of the Hope Baptist Church at the end of her life. For many years she taught Bible study.
